WHAT IS BREW KOMBUCHA?

Kombucha is a fizzy, natural tea fermentation.  At Brew Kombucha, we have perfected a South African Rooibos Tea Kombucha.  Our product is 100% Organic, raw and, as all fermentations should be, it's bottled in dark glass. Every bottle has a super Vitamin B12 content and tastes epic.

Kombucha Culture

Kombucha is an ancient combo of bacteria and yeast. It causes tea to ferment, making it fizzy, tart and rich in a diverse span of probiotics.

Organic Rooibos Tea Blend

We blend organic Rooibos - the anti-oxidant gem indigenous to the Western Cape - with organic black tea for the perfect tannin balance.

Organic Sugar

We wanted the best organic stuff, so our sugar has to come from a farm where the sugar cane is cut green and unrefined. Trickier for us to make kombucha with, but yoh! you can taste the result.

Spring Water

We use spring water that has filtered down through Table Mountain.  As all brewers know, good quality water is a must for  excellent Kombucha.

Nutrition

Clearly we're putting only the best stuff in, but what are we getting out? We had some food scientists test whats going on in a bottle of Brew Kombucha.

It's not just us who think it's the good stuff!  Brew Kombucha has an incredibly high Vitamin B12 content, the vitamin that gives you natural energy.  Not just any kombucha can claim that!

Team

Brew Kombucha has a tight-knit team. We love finding new ways to improve how we do what we do.  We are mindful of the impact that making a product can have.   We make sure that at the brewery we up-cycle, reuse and recycle! Saru and Lovemore, our brewers, have planted a vegetable garden with seeds from home, which grow happily in compost we have made from the brewery waste. 

Part of the team is a awesome group of people we are proud to call our ambassadors, who keep healthy and fit by exploring the natural environment and keeping conservation at heart. More on the ambassadors coming soon!
